Zola Hashatsi was born on 16 October 1988. He is a renowned South African retired actor, content maker, television presenter and recently turned Sangoma.

He was a co-host on iCrew with Pearl Thusi, but, he became popular for his job on e.tv’s Craz-e with same female celebrity Pearl Modiadie, and others like  Lee-Roy Wright, Morena Sefatsa, and Kriya Gangiah and later in his career, he worked closely with Stephanie Sandows, Thulisile Phongolo, and Thabile Ngwato.

Zola Hashatsi, while he was an actor, has debuted on e.tv’s anthology TV series, eKasi: Our Stories, and also premiered on that channel’s soap opera, Rhythm City.

The South African youngstar graduated from the Technicol SA College in Centurion, Gauteng South African back in 2006.

Asides his home language which is Zulu the acclaimed Sangoma speaks English fluently, and also other South African native languages like Xhosa, Sotho and Afrikaans.

In 2006 he directed and appeared in a TV commercial for Outsurance; and also played a role as a waiter in two scenes on e.tv’s soapie Scandal!

June 2006 the Sangoma co-presented together with Pearl Thusi the kid’s series, iCrew every Friday at 15h00.

A year after in 2007 Hashatsi was picked as the main host for the kids game show titled Crazed Out, and it premiered on e.tv on Thursday 3 May, at 15h30.

5 years later in 2013 and 2014 he guest appeared on the e.tv drama series titled eKasi: Our Stories, after that he showed up on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City.

In 2014 and 2015 he was picked to host the travel show South Streets called My Mzansi Adventure on eKasi+, and also began co-hosting together with Refilwe Modiselle the e.tv celebrity magazine show Hush respectively.

The South African television producer and former actor, Zola Hashatsi revealed that he has decided to answer and accept the call to serve as a healer (Sangoma).

About a year ago, he stated: ”I think after my great-grandmother died in 2009, she became my ancestor and was always protecting me from evil things. I should have listened to the call in 2009, but I did not understand it...”

He continued, ‘I started embracing it more and more. I was honestly not surprised… I still believe in the Lord but I am a child of the soil.”
