In 2017 while he was in his senior year (Matric), he revealed that he dropped lots of tracks just to put his name in the hall of fame. To his luck, it went out fine.

While talking about his inspirations and other deep house artists who motivates him, he stated that The Godfathers Of Deep House SA, Chronical Deep, Kid Fonque, !Sooks, Ed Ward, Dj Buhle, TimAdeep, D-Malice, Tshego Deep, Phats De Juvenile, Dawson, Da Capo, Avi Suban. He further revealed that his best song is from The Godfathers Of Deep House SA and the song title is God’s war (Nostalgic Mix). He stated that its the song that introduced him to the Godfathers, and also the song behind Redemial Sounds.

Buddynice also stated that Redemial Sounds is his music signature and is made up of 4 different music genres joined together and those genres are Nostalgic Deep house, Afro house ,Deep Tech and Minimal house.

According to the house singer, his biggest break was when I got an offer from Simone Terry who is popularly known as Mr Afro Deep. He confirmed that he deal was for his crew, Bush Doctor Recordings to release an Ep with them.

Buddynice revealed that with the proceed from the project, he used the money to buy himself a computer and some few sound system which he used to start his music journey.
